Description
Andrew Johnson was America’s 17th president, from 1865-1869 (not to be confused with Andrew Jackson, who was president 35 years earlier). He was the Vice President under Abraham Lincoln and became president upon Lincoln’s assassination. Even though he was from a southern state that seceded from the Union, he remained loyal to the U.S. He was impeached over his insistence in firing his Secretary of War in defiance of the Tenure of Office Act (but acquitted in the Senate by one vote), and subsequently failed to win presidential nomination in 1868, but then later won a Senate seat after leaving the presidency. He died in 1875 at age 66, five months into his senatorial term.

Georgia is so close to Florida, it could be the first step...I am a game. Sold 8 books just today, thanks also to your hard work, now I have to repeat the amount every day during the year and every 1/4 of the year to double the amount. Peterson (author) is way too far from me...

Will you do all 46 Jayne? I am impressed and at the same time I want to open a Shan Peck Original Art Gallery...which state you flexible with to move as a first employee future business partner?
Jayne Somogy replied:
I know you're being facetious, but thank you! I actually AM planning to do all 46--because . . . why not? Just bought my house in Georgia 6 months ago, so you'll have to move back here!
