Where does the headpiece of belly dance costume go to between shows? Onto a Styrofoam head, until its owner is ready to put it on for the next show. This particular headpiece—made by this artist—is in its permanent “resting place” as its owner is a little too old to perform (not my estimation, but the general public likes its dancers to be or look no older than about 35 years old).
