Famous black entertainer from the "Roaring Twenties," Josephine Baker . . . and a cat! This was done from a reference photo of this actual scene--one can only speculate as to how this situation came to be--and what happened next! Digitally-added color to my original painting.

I create whimsical, graphic, stylized, often Asian-inspired & sometimes jeweled or embellished interpretations of people, animals, ethnic subjects, objects/still lifes.
