"Feeling the Compás" -- Fierce, dramatic flamenco dancer who is "feeling the compás," which is the distinctive flamenco rhythm, usually a twelve-beat cycle, and is the basis for the dance. If you can't instinctively feel where the accents are and when the phrase ends, you can't really dance, understand, or feel flamenco.
