This is a portrait of a young Hungarian man in 1930 who is very fashionably dressed--according to the standards of his time and culture. One of my artistic goals is to present and preserve history by portraying anonymous figures from current or past times that typify their particular culture and time in history. I create whimsical, graphic, stylized, often Asian-inspired & sometimes jeweled or embellished interpretations of people, animals, ethnic subjects, objects/still lifes.
