Description
This is a fashion design I created in the early 1980's, which I reworked slightly for this art deco-inspired piece that combines the 1920/1930 art deco style with a very modern twist. I am proud to say this piece won 1st place in the "bathroom art" contest and also the "checkerboard art" contest, as well as 3rd places in the "Vintage Fashion and Art" contest, the "96 +1" contest, and the "Fashion Poses and Fashion Designs" contest here on FAA. The original of this painting was bought by a friend of mine, and now lives in her house near London, England.

Vi trovo anche un profumo di "Futurismo": conosci certo quella corrente artistica nata in Italia all'inizio del 900 che aveva il suo punto di forza nel "movimento", cosa che ritrovo nella tua opera. Può una immagine statica ricreare il movimento? La tua opera vi è riuscita! L/F - I think your artwork is original and engaging. The art deco details are precise and beautiful. I found a reference to "Futurism" in your artwork: you certainly know the artistic movement born in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century which had its strong point in the "action", which I find in your work. Can a static image recreate motion? Your work has succeeded! L / F
