My aim with this piece was to evoke the colorful celebratory feeling of a Mexican fiesta, using the typical colors and patterns found in the décor, tilework and artwork of the rich cultural history of Mexico.

I create whimsical, graphic, stylized, often Asian-inspired & sometimes jeweled or embellished interpretations of people, animals, ethnic subjects, objects/still lifes.
