He’s a man in Denver who rescues senior dogs—many with medical issues—and gives them a wonderful life in his beautiful home—9 or 10 at a time! Each time one of his dogs crosses that Rainbow Bridge, he adopts another at-risk senior in that one’s honor. This is a portrait of his dog named Kitty who recently passed; he was absolutely crazy about her, she LOVED to run, and she accompanied him on his summer vacations to Cape Cod. This portrait references these facts. Kitty was done in pastels and the background is paper collage. Steve Greig has over a million followers on IG, and also is dad to a pig named Bikini, a turkey (Cranberry), several chickens, bunnies, and even a cat or two. (I intended this as a gift to Steve, but apparently he doesn’t accept such gifts.)
